Quality targets 3840x2160p with dynamic resolution scaling (DRS) engaged, which can scale by 75% in total down to a low of 1920x1080. ![]() The game has three resolution modes, Quality, Ray Tracing, and Performance, each of which also has a 120Hz mode. Built on the same Luminous Engine that powered the team's last game, Final Fantasy XV, it has a similar open world design, with animation, art, creature design and more that will feel familiar. The final game was also a technical improvement over the demos for the most part in terms of IQ and performance, though Episode Duscae I think probably had the better lighting model. ![]() Luminous has a verifiable track record of this, pretty noticeabley improving the visuals of FFXV between footage in September/October and the November launch with the day 1 patch. In general the last part of development for any game will usually involve performance optimizations and polish. The demo was designed to just offer a space to try combat and traversal, and has been stripped of any story context or setpieces. It's been available at many trade shows now. ![]()
